Technology has increased the need to keep learning. We are finding that students in our classes know more about technology than we do. It seems that we cannot keep up with them. We hear them talk about Facebook and Hi5, Teen Second Life and Habbo Hotel, Blogs and Wikis. Sometimes we do not have a hack about what they are talking about but we cannot say so. Students should not know more than their teachers! Or should they? The internet has empowered our students. This is our future challenge - to empower ourselves. Get to know about what's there and use it for more effective teaching and learning.
The authors of this blog are teachers who teach other teachers how to use IT in their classrooms or who are well familiarised with technology.
